Short Biography

As an active freelance performer, Adriana has played with the Canadian Opera Company, National Arts Centre Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Classique de Montréal, Orchestre Symphonique de Gatineau, Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra, Niagara Symphony Orchestra, London Symphonia, among others and has led the viola sections of the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, Sherbrooke Symphony Orchestra, Oakville Chamber Orchestra, Burlington Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Ancaster and Ontario Pops Orchestra. She recently won the position and is now Peterborough Symphony Orchestra’s principal viola.

Adriana has a Master’s of Music in Performance from McGill University, a Chamber Music Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto. Her teachers include Sheila Jaffé, Neil Gripp, Steven Dann, Sharon Wei and Ralph Aldrich. Adriana plays on a 2020 Joseph Curtin viola.
